Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, Active Directory, Hyper-V My client, is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join their team on site in Thame. The Systems Engineer will integrate with the already established team and play a pivotal role in on-going project work, as well as day to day support of existing infrastructure. The Role The Systems Engineer will take responsibility for a complex, enterprise-level infrastructure, as well as providing the last line of support. It is expected that the Systems Engineer will have experience working within large-scale environments and have a very strong technical background in Microsoft technologies. The environment encompasses predominantly Microsoft technologies including AD, Exchange and Windows Server. The successful Systems Engineer will have a broad range of experience and will be an adaptable individual who doesn’t shy away from a challenge. For this individual further technical knowledge and experience required within this role includes: Knowledge of Microsoft based operating systems with emphasis on Windows Server 2008 Strong experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange, including experience of AD and Group Policy Design Virtualisation experience e.g. Hyper-V Networking experience working with Cisco networks or across firewalls, routing and switching A strong split of experience between Project and BAU work What Next?
