Individuals who are considered “vulnerable” (or co-habit with vulnerable individuals) according to government guidelines are not suitable candidates for this environment The Royal London Hospital You will be given the necessary PPE to protect you from the virus however everyone is being reminded to follow the Public Health advice: • Wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds • Always wash your hands when you get home or into work • Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available • Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze • Put used tissues in the bin straight away and wash your hands afterwards • Do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean • Stay at home for 7 days if you have a high temperature or a new, continuous cough Skills Required Clean to a high standard and follow work procedures that incorporate all quality standards laid down by the client or Serco and Environment Audits.  Clean floors, work surfaces, furnishings and related equipment manually and by use of machines, understanding and adhering to work schedules and Standard Operating Procedures.  Empty, dispose and replace clinical and domestic waste as directed and ensure that waste is disposed of correctly.  Ensure that all equipment and materials required to perform all cleaning tasks are maintained in a hygienic and safe condition and any deviation in store levels or suitability of equipment is reported to the Team Leader for action.  Ensure that high personal hygiene and infection control standards are maintained in relation to personal tasks Qualifications Required First day information… • Bring with you a photo ID Document (passport or driving licence etc.) • You will be provided with a uniform and Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) to wear • You will be provided with an ID badge on your first day – please keep this with you at all times • Training will be provided to you by a member of the Serco team • DBS Certificate required
