Electrical Design Engineer

Electrical Design Engineer Permanent Kingston-Upon-Thames £40-45k plus benefits Our client, a global provider of systems and solutions for commercial and defence applications are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to be the Electrical engineering point of contact for a major control systems project. You will work in their Engineering team focussed on Defence programmes. What you will do: Resolve hardware issues during production build Resolve hardware issues during qualification Support test equipment design Maintain schematics Support the running of functional and test equipment during testing phases Change management Field modification creation Quotations for change Understanding of PID control systems Background and Experience: Please note for this particular role, all candidates must be eligible for SC - UK EYES ONLY clearance and therefore be a sole British National passport holder. What you will need: PLC hardware/software experience Electrical safety testing knowledge and practical application Knowledge of PID control systems Knowledge and use of AutoCAD Electrical or Similar Production and panel building experience would be advantageous but is not essential What you will receive: Working Hours – Either standard hours (37 hours per week) OR compressed hours (Week 1 – 41 hours Monday to Friday, Week 2 – 33 hours Monday to Thursday, Friday off) Pension up to 8% Private Medical Insurance with BUPA Opportunity to buy/sell holidays Relocation package and assistance for qualifying candidates For more information to apply please contact Gemma Skidmore of Jonathan Lee Recruitment.
