Reed Social Care - Qualified Hub - Leeds are currently recruiting for an experience Approved Mental Health Practitioner in Huddersfield: Job purpose: The posts will be based at one of the Civic centres in Huddersfield . Offering the option to work from home. However it would be necessary to attend community visits as the need presents itself. Duties: Taking calls for Kirklees direct responding to MHA, Safeguarding and urgent housing needs across the council out of hours. Standard working hours 16:00 - 02:00, 20:00 - 08:00 (and 08:00 - 20:00 at weekends). There are no set shifts the post is to cover annual leave for the whole team. With the current climate we are offering the option to work from home. However it would be necessary to attend community visits as the need presents itself. If a MHA assessment is requested it will need to be due consideration and risk assessment in the usual way. It will also be likely that you would need to have some time in the office in order to understand the expectations of the service and to access equipment. The package: • £40 umbrella per hour Requirements: In order to apply for this post you must be qualified as a Social Worker and an AMHP, be on Social Work England register and have previous experience and an AMHP.
