Onsite parking available We are seeking a candidate, ideally fully qualified Accountant but would also consider a part qualified (studies would not be supported) The role will include: We have a requirement within the Commercial Finance team for a Commercial Finance Analyst on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract. Providing commercial insight into opportunities, risk analysis, and will analyse data to make recommendations to increase profitability. This role provides the opportunity to balance both financial accounting and business partnering to the Group. The nature of the role allows you to ‘have a voice’ and make influential decisions impacting business. You will be a confident communicator who provides a balanced and logical approach to decision making when dealing with stakeholders. Influence Buyers and Manager to ensure understanding of income and margins Be the financial expert for the Buying team. Undertake analysis of the major drivers of category growth e.g. pricing, promotions etc. Identify future Risk & Opportunity Analyse trading against KPIs making adjustments if necessary Liaise with internal teams to deliver profit and loss and retention plans
