Overview
Our client is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their established, friendly team in this newly created position. Offering study support, free onsite parking, this is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional who wants to work within an organisation that offers personal development and growth. Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include: Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts Extensive analysis and KPI reporting Cost Centre analysis Accruals and prepayments Extensive reconciliations Assist with quarterly forecasts and annual budget preparation Ad hoc projects Requirements: Positive, eager attitude with willingness to learn Advanced Excel and strong analytical skills Relevant experience Multi-site experience would be advantageous but not essential Part-qualified or the desire to become qualified Benefits: Study support 22 days holiday statutory holidays Free on-site parking Pension in line with auto-enrolment This position is based on the south side of Northampton and is within commutable distance of Milton Keynes, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley and Wellingborough.
