Maintenance Engineer / Stores Engineer South Wales 15321/534 £29,000 (Days role) Excellent company benefits This is a rare opportunity to join a highly successful and well-established manufacturer that are experiencing significant and prolonged growth. They are investing heavily in their South Wales Facility and are looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer who can also take ownership and accountability for the stores department. This is a key role within the engineering department, and you will be required to oversee the engineering stores and provide maintenance support when needed. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving manufacturer with an excellent reputation for staff retention and development. Role & Responsibilities: The primary purpose of the role is to manage and maintain the engineering stores - roughly 80% of the role You will also be required to provide maintenance support when needed on a range of production machinery - 20% of the role Liaise and work directly with suppliers Pro-actively monitor parts usage and develop minimum and maximum levels for all spare parts Ensure the spare parts are available and aligned with PPM schedules Manufacture of machine components using workshop equipment such as lathe, milling machinery and TIG welders Knowledge, Skills and experience Experience of Engineering stores function Able to be hands on when needed and pro-active attitude towards this Engineering background - apprenticeship / ONC Manufacturing experience is required Knowledge and experience of working within a workshop - lathe, milling TIG Welding Benefits Package: £29'000 annual salary Days role - Monday to Friday Contributory company pension scheme 25 days holiday Bank holidays Private health cover Childcare vouchers Cycle to work scheme If you are interested in this role or looking for something similar please contact our Managing Consultant Nick Greenland directly at or call him for a confidential discussion on .
