Overview
Meridian Business support is recruiting for one of our prestigious clients. A vacancy has arisen for a WIRING HARNESS PREPARATION & ASSEMBLER - reporting to the Production Supervisor, The work is predominantly bench work, operating cable cut and strip machines, crimp presses and involves handling and moving of harnesses & cable. Some experience of cable preparation and harness assembly would be advantageous. The position is ongoing temporary and the successful candidate would start as soon as possible. The person will undertake all aspects of cable/harness preparation and will be instructed and trained to operate the equipment. The successful candidate ideally will Have previous Cable Harness Wiring experience Have an ability to be trained to work to instructions and drawings or copy samples. Be enthusiastic and take a pride in their work. Be physically fit and capable of handling and moving harnesses and cables. Be manually dexterous due to the nature of the work Be organised and tidy in their work. Be aware of Health & Safety aspects affecting their area of work. Be reliable and a good time keeper.
