Garment Technologist Clothing

A successful supplier working with a broad mix of UK brands and High Street retailers require a Garment Technologist to join their expanding team based in Manchester. The Garment Technologist will work closely with the Production Manager and Designer. They will be responsible for creating technical packs, checking and measuring samples, making fit comments, liaising with the factories and uploading the specs and fit comments on the customers in-house systems. It would be highly beneficial if the selected Garment Technologist is proficient in using CAD, ideally Illustrator and Corel Draw. Applicants for this Garment Technologist position must have some previous technical experience from their degree and ideally in industry. The product areas will include men’s and women’s multi-product ranges including jersey, sweats, wovens and denim.
