Title: Medical Affairs Associate Location: Based Scotland (Head Office) Salary: Exceptional basic salary benefits package available DOE Evolve Consultant: Claire Handley Ref: 7306 A new opportunity as a Medical Affairs Associate has arisen with our client, a highly successful Pharmaceutical company with a specialist product range within the Rare Diseases market. Essential Requirements Ideally you will have at least two years’ experience in medical affairs, experienced candidates will also be considered. You will be educated to a degree level, ideally with a Life sciences/ Healthcare degree Experience in the development and delivery of Medical Education/ training programmes or events You will have demonstrable experience working within cross-functional teams Willingness to travel as required to fulfil the business needs of the role Experienced working within rare disease and / or specialist care is ideal but not essential Role Responsibilities You will take ownership for the delivery of Medical Education initiatives in line with strategy from concept and creation through to completion, and within agreed budget Drive the delivery of Medical Education program activities, ensuring relevant tasks are fulfilled by cross functional team members, providing Medical Affairs input and support throughout Develop and deliver on key Medical Education activities associated with scientific congress in line with Medical Education strategy Liaise with venues, external vendors and other external stakeholders in the organisation and smooth execution of meetings and events Ensure all Medical Education activities comply with the relevant internal and external governance processes and frameworks You will be responsible for the development of necessary paperwork associated with Medical Education events, and for driving the approval of all associated materials and content before use Undertake all necessary administrative tasks to deliver on key responsibilities Role Specific Competencies Flexible “can do” attitude needed to thrive in a fast-growing company.
