Shift Engineer

The heartbeat of any manufacturing site. You are the people that keep things ticking over, making sure that machines are running efficiently, completing projects and making sure that people can work with equipment safely. We are looking for a capable shift engineer – as far as we are concerned, engineering is engineering so background isn’t important, although it would be useful to have experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. You will need to be able to work electrically and mechanically, with the qualifications to back this up. You will make sure that machines are fixed when they breakdown, and run a maintenance schedule that hopefully prevents them from breaking down in the first place. You will be working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, both days and nights and be part of a mid sized engineering team with a really supportive manager who has progressed internally.
