Overview

Driven by client solutions, Kybrook Ltd ensures that it provides bespoke building services management which result in optimal performance using new and innovative equipment and systems. As Technical Services Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that buildings are mobilised and maintained, ensuring that all M&E aspects of a building are performing effectively and efficiently. This includes coordinating the maintenance of general HVAC systems, fabric maintenance and engineering personnel. Duties include but not limited to Liaise with key subcontractors and other construction professionals. Carry out tests on systems and make changes to plans where necessary. Monitor the installation of services and managing their maintenance once the building or project is completed. Looking after the reactive repairs Pricing and mobilisation of new contracts. Survey and quote remedial and new works. Implementation of new systems, processes and procedures for better operational purposes. Ensure client requirements and relationships are met and exceeded. Proactively drive business forward to include technical assistance and input at tendering stage. Negotiate contracts with clients, particularly in consultancy work. Draft PPM specific for site. Oversee all engineering expenditure and budgeting and ensure the project value and material/labour costs are being adhered to. Manage the recruitment and on-boarding of engineers and on site teams. Line management of mobile engineers and proactively encourage their development Report writing and quotations. Order and/or source parts. Work cohesively with other technical managers when required to share knowledge and push business forward. Proactively seek new ways to grow the business with the engineers. Deliver training for all engineers and ensure visibility and understanding of policies, processes and procedures. Actively encourage energy consumption and other sustainability efficiencies for clients. Observe and maintain exemplary standards of Health & Safety and environmental legislation. Requirements/experience/qualifications Proven experience in property/building services management (Min 5 years) A background in Operations (experience of the commercial real estate sector is beneficial) Qualified to a recognised Building Services discipline. Apprenticeship/City and Guilds or degree level/HND in an engineering discipline. Technical proficiency such as exemplary understanding of plant machinery and mechanical and electrical installation. Attributes The holder of this role should be a bona fide ambassador of Kybrook Ltd. This role is largely client facing and so the holder of this role will have to demonstrate good verbal and written communication and a professional demeanour at all times.
