Hourly rate: £8.75 We are now actively recruiting an experienced Grounds Worker, if you are keen to work for an Award winning business please read on, This unique role will suit a candidate with experience in grounds, gardening, maintenance or operative looking to move into a high profile, service driven site. Based in Hampstead the Ground Worker role will be involved the day to day operation of the grounds maintenance contract. This is a prestigious site so Key to this role is offering an exceptional level of service and appreciation of this Heritage working environment. This role is working 24 hours per week working from 7am to 3.3pm, we are offering a Salary of £8.75 per hour. The role includes a close working relationship with other team members and the companies Clients and Mangers, requiring a high level of appreciation and communication with business and branch representatives. The Position will involve: • Operation of grass cutting machinery • Maintenance of shrub beds and planted areas • Weed control operations • Hedge cutting operations • Assistance with maintenance of high profile grounds and gardens • Any other duties as deemed necessary, if these duties are of a greater level of responsibility or skill of those required in the post then full training and appropriate supervision will be provided. The ideal candidate will also be working in an outdoors environment through all seasons and be assisting with regular health & safety inspections. If you would like to be considered for the role: You will come from a grounds based background within a high profile site with hands on experience of working in a grounds maintenance. We are looking for a Ground Worker who have worked in a similar environment across maintenance, facilities, and gardening. Key to the role is the ability to be reactive, proactive and work as part of a busy team, a keenness to learn and progress is essential. They are very customer focused so exceptional levels of communication and patience is required. The interested candidate will also need a flexible approach and be able to work with minimal supervision and be a self-starter.
