Senior Project Manager, PMO - Construction Consultancy Leeds based Salary to £65,000 package Company Overview Our client is a well established innovative national real estate and infrastructure consultancy, with offices in Leeds and other key UK cities who work with a variety of high calibre and long-standing clients across a number of sectors. Due to the winning of a number of high profile projects across multiple sectors they are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their existing Project Management Office team, to support in their delivery. Sectors include residential, commercial office, and health projects in the Leeds and Yorkshire are. The Role The successful candidate will join the PMO team within the Leeds office, reporting directly into the Director of Project Management and ensure the effective smooth effective running of projects across the region. The successful candidate will be working with the team to successfully deliver the key stages of projects to ensure that they are on time, to high quality and within the specified budget. Requirements As Senior Project Manager you will have a minimum of 5 years Project Management experience within a PMO preferably, and hold professional qualifications and memberships. Experience of working in a client-focused environment - working closely with clients, updating clients on progress, while taking personal responsibility in dealing with clients and striving to exceed their expectations Proven track record of engaging with key stakeholders A strategic thinker with broad problem-solving skills Able to work on own initiative with strong motivation skills Proven organisational skills to multi-task and manage projects involving cross-functional teams at varying levels of complexity and completion while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting deadlines Detailed understanding of project lifecycles in complex operational and business environments Highly flexible and adaptable Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels Pragmatic and practical thinker, strong problem solving skills with outstanding influencing and communication skills, both verbal and written Capability to develop and present succinct status summaries and reports for various stakeholders Experience of working alongside project managers or individual contributors in a construction consultancy environment. Experience leading delivery teams is strongly preferred This is very much a delivery role, and whilst you will work closely with the Director of PM to develop and plan the growth of the Project Management business you will work to the continued integration of the other consultancy services within the internal business units.
