Childcare Assistant

CHILDCARE ASSISTANT Your new company Hays Social Care are working in partnership with a number of providers in West Sussex to support their service with consistent staffing over the coming months. Your new role This is an exciting new position to work as a Childcare assistant across homes and community projects to support children with behavioural and mental health difficulties. The homes look after children aged 8 - 18 with a range of challenging and diverse behaviours. Your role as a Childcare Assistant will be to support children in every day life, activities and achieving the right outcomes and living a happy healthy life along with lots of activities & fun What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this position you will need to have 6 months experience working within a Health and Social care setting. The shift patterns are flexible and include, long days and sleep ins, short shifts early and late shifts. Weekend and non term time are especially busy so if you are a student or Academic staff this could be the ideal role for you You do not need to be a driver although this is highly desirable.
