Overview

Adecco have a great opportunity for an HR Advisor to fulfil a 11-month maternity contract, working part time - 24 hours a week for our client based on the outskirts of Exeter. This position will commence by April 2020 and will include providing services to several sites within the SW. You will report direct to the Finance Director and have excellent communication and organisational skills. Certificate in Human Resource Management (Level 5) would be a distinct advantage. You will need to have a driving licence due to occasional visits to other sites. Responsibilities: Lead on the implementation of a recruitment and selection process, working closely with managers and providing an effective "end to end" recruitment administrative process. Provide proactive and appropriate HR advice to management across the business. Work closely with managers to ensure the correct handling of disciplinary, grievance and absence management. Capable of translating employment law into practical employment procedures for managers. Lead on learning and development, working collaboratively with colleagues, managers and teams to develop and implement a strategy in line with the staff appraisal system. Liaising with Payroll Department Maintaining employee personnel files Monitoring holiday and absence records Requirements: Ideally a proven background working in a generalist HR position where you provided operational advice on a wide range of HR related matters. Capable of translating employment law into practical employment procedures for managers. Experience of maintaining and reviewing performance management systems.
