Overview
DevOps Engineer (SciTech) We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a scientific tech team working at the cutting edge of DNA technologies, having a significant impact on the advancement of research and discoveries in this space. As the DevOps Engineer you will work with the Software Engineering team to enhance automation in a production AWS cloud environment and improve deployment and CI process. The team are using Docker heavily and moving towards Kubernetes, a project they would like you to be involved in so a great chance to build on your container experience if you haven't had the opportunity to use production Kubernetes so far. This is an 'automation' heavy position and whilst a development background isn't necessary, Python experience or automating using Ansible or infrastructure as code tech (Terraform currently) would be very beneficial. We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with; Demonstrable experience with Docker in production, Kubernetes would be beneficial but certainly not necessary Broad knowledge of Ops and Cloud tooling which could include AWS cloud environments, Terraform or Ansible Python (or similar language) experience for automation would be highly beneficial DevOps Engineer (SciTech) Salary: £55,000 - 65,000 plus Benefits Location: Oxford Science Park, Oxfordshire
