About the Role; We are looking for a Claims Handler to join our diverse and thriving team in Nottingham. As part of the role, you will manage a caseload of claims and liaise with internal colleagues and external stakeholders (policy holders, Third Parties, clients, brokers, suppliers etc.). You will work closely with colleagues in the Subsidence Team to resolve claims As an Insurance Claims Handler, you will be required to complete the following tasks; Managing your own caseload of claims Drafting of business letters to third parties, ensuring articulate presentation of evidence and facts Reducing claim sum and timescales through prompt action (particularly when trees are owned by neighbours or third parties) Carrying out appropriate action as quickly as possible whilst closely managing/tracking cases to ensure successful recovery of the costs from third parties & local authorities What we are looking for in an Insurance Claims Handler; Strong verbal and written skills Ability to demonstrate attention to detail Good organisational and time management skills Ability to research and gather evidence Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team, using own initiative Passionate about delivering a first class customer service experience A positive attitude and a proactive approach to solving problems Strong negotiation skills Able to co-ordinate a variety of actions concurrently This is a great opportunity for an individual looking to start a career by providing a service that truly makes a difference.
