Overview
A well-established joinery company located in Braintree, Essex are seeking a Design Project Manager to join their growing team. Who are they? This firm have been established for over a century, manufacture high end, bespoke joinery products throughout the UK and have over 100 staff working for them in total. This is a permanent role, paying a negotiable salary with some good benefits listed below. Overview of the role: As a Design Project Manager you will be reporting into the Operations Director daily, you will utilise your experience with the delivery of projects whilst liaising with your team. What does the position entail? You will manager the completion of design projects Looking after the drawings with the design team to ensure that the brief has been met You will be inputting drawings into AutoCAD Meeting with specialist contractors and architects to discuss and resolve any design requirements Speaking with production estimating and sales departments and dealing with any queries where necessary Preparing of manufacturing details Coordinating of setting out / drawing work Candidate requirements: Will have strong experience working with AutoCAD and ideally a designer previously Must be a good communicator as you will be dealing with customers in person and on the phone Proficient user of Microsoft programs, especially Excel The candidate will be self-motivated as well as being able to work well within a small team Background within a manufacturing environment Company Benefits: Private health care Career progression 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Free car parking on site Hours of work: 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday Pension If you are seeking a new, yet exciting challenge then get in touch with Jack at Prime Appointments today, you will find my contact details on our website.
