Machine Operator Location: Newport Pagnell Hours: 4 on 4 off (2 day shifts and 2 nights shifts) Salary: £21,036a Are you a hardworking, dedicated employee looking for a new challenge with a company that values their employees Do you enjoy working with machinery and would thrive in an environment where these skills are nurtured. We are looking for Machine Operatives to work in a busy warehouse on the outskirts of Newport Pagnell Our client is a leading manufacturer in the UK with ten sites across the UK, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The company manufactures around two billion products every year and currently employs over 600 employees. The role: Maintain Maintain production on the machines allocated to meet agreed standards of quality and output. Check product testers at the start of each shift and complete the required number of quality checks Any faults found should be rectified immediately. Log all relevant information accurately Comply with the Company Health and Safety Policy. Maintain Hygiene and Quality Standards. Carry out a full machine safety check on the machines Maintain housekeeping to the highest standard at all times. This should be ongoing throughout the shift. Work as a team with other members of staff to ensure efficient machine operation. Suggest improvements to the working methods that will increase productivity, aid effectiveness of production, improve quality and enhance Health and Safety. Adherence to all company policies, procedures and work instructions as relevant. Previous experience in a plastic manufacturing environment with good knowledge of operating machinery is ideal. You will be willing to learn new ways of working, with the ability to problem solve effectively.
