Overview

Finance Data Analyst Based: Bolton Salary: up to £30k dependent on experience. 25 days holiday stats, health cash plan, pension etc. Our client is an excellent, expanding business based in the centre of Bolton, part of a larger organisation they run independently offering a range of niche services to customers throughout the UK and Europe. Having placed 3 staff members over the last few years we know them well. Due to growth and internal changes they have created a new role for a Finance Data Analyst to join the team. The role will be heavily involved with data reporting, KPI reporting, reconciling data and also assisting on growth projects internally in terms of MI. Role: Building relationships internally with key stakeholders, delivering results to improve business performance Conducting business analysis to develop current reporting model and capabilities Monitoring performance and quality control, identifying improvements Creating new business processes within PowerBI, Excel, SAGE Profitability analysis - investigating revenue streams and analysis on profitable streams and customers Developing pricing policy, performing margin analysis and creating/updating matrixes Developing creditor funding model to identify short term cash flow needs Interpret data and analyse results, developing new reports and suggesting improvements on existing reports Interpreting trends and patterns using complex data sets Producing and maintaining regular reports - weekly, monthly, annually Assisting with ledger reconciliations internally and externally Experience: Experience of data analysis and reporting PowerBI and Sage knowledge - highly desirable Strong Excel skills Reconciliations and finance knowledge desirable In return you will get the chance to work within a support, expanding business.
