Role: Deputy Team Leader Location: Alton, Hampshire, Salary: £23,830 Hours: 37.5 hours a week (Full Time) Shifts: Mixture of early (7am) and late shifts (10:30pm) – must include both. Every other weekend worked. About Us: The schooling and college environment is an extremely daunting prospect for children and individuals with a physical disability. It is imperative that they find an environment where they receive expert care and specialist attention, as well as receiving an excellent education. We deliver exactly that We are a specialised school and college for young people aged 2-25 who nurture and grow the young minds of young people with physical disabilities. We provide enriching and challenging lessons alongside therapeutic support and residential care. The majority of our students reside on site in our specially equipped homes. Our school, college and residential services all have been rates as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and CQC About The Role: We are looking for an inspiring and self-motivated individual to join our team and ensure the efficient running of our residential home catered for our senior school/college aged students. You will work directly with our fabulous Registered Manager to support your team of carers and continue our success at being expert care providers for our young people. No two day will be the same in this varied role Some admin duties will include writing/updating care plans and assisting with the cover of absent staff but you’ll also get to build strong relationships with your students by supporting them with their individualised education programs.
