Overview

An expanding business is looking for a number of HGV Drivers to join their team in Immingham on an ongoing basis. Your work will involve the delivery of containers UK wide and may include nights out although day runs are available if desired. There is no handball or multi dropping this role, the business operates a modern, well-maintained fleet of CE vehicles. As an HGV Driver, your daily duties will include: • Ensuring all POD's are signed. • Ensuring loads are safely secure. • Ensuring you are well-presented and professional at all times. • Complying with driving hours, rules and regulations. To be a successful HGV Driver, you will have the following skills and experiences: • A keen eye for detail when filling in paperwork. • You will have a Full UK Driving with a CE Entitlement. • Must hold a valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. • Must be courteous and have a hardworking attitude. Your normal working hours will be Monday - Friday on occasion you may be required to run back on a Saturday. In return, an HGV Driver will receive an hourly rate of £10.00 (PAYE) - £12.00 (LTD) per hour with a minimum of 8 hours paid per shift. Breaks are also paid. You will be paid a night out rate for each night that you stay in the vehicle which is £25 per night.
