Overview
Technical Consultant Central London £45,000-£50,000 DOE My client is a leading provider of Enterprise Content Management services specialising in the UK with some offices into mainland Europe and plans to expand even further. Currently, they are looking to bring in an experienced Technical Consultant due to growth within the business and an internal promotion. As an organisation they have been running for over 30 years and have gone from strength to strength constantly evolving and changing to stay ahead of market trends. Duties as a Technical Consultant; Providing thorough technical consultancy within the ECM market to a variety of clients including SME's & Corporate organisations. Part of your consulting will require you to asses a customer's requirements and then ensure they are using best practice offering a solution in line with this. Delivering designed solutions in line with designed specifications ensuring customers are receiving the service promised. Working alongside project managers you will be required to create and present progress reports. Upon completion of a project you will be required to collaborate with relevant departments collecting feedback to improve service where possible. Using your technical expertise, you will engage at every step of the process from planning to deployment. What you need for this Technical Consultant role; Experience with Enterprise Content Management software would be highly beneficial. Educated to Degree level. Must have 3 years' experience in a Technical Consultant capacity. Experienced with creating design documentation. Must have practical knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Desktop Softwares. At least 2 years' experience with Virtial Desktop or Citrix technology. Skilled with Linux. Ability to converse confidently on a technical level with other technical individuals but to also discuss in layman terms with non-technical individuals. Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment where you were required to handle several projects.
