Outstanding opportunity for an eager assistant site manager with national builder Your new company An exciting opportunity has come available for an enthusiastic and ambitious No.2 site manager with one of our national clients, a renowned housing developer with a solid reputation for producing a quality range of homes coupled to exceptional customer service. The development is a collection of 3, 4 and bedroom, traditionally built homes on the outskirts of Bridgwater in Somerset. Your new role Reporting to the site manager, you will be an important member of the on-site operations team delivering plots to budget, quality and programme expectations. Duties include undertaking site inductions, organising materials and deliveries, coordinating and supervising trades, conducting quality inspections, attending meetings with subcontractors, inspectors and suppliers, as well as ensuring that Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times. What you'll need to succeed You will have current SMSTS, CSCS and first aid certification in addition to experience working on similar developments. You will have good knowledge of the housebuilding process and current construction techniques, as well as a strong understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC standards and Health and Safety Legislation. You will possess excellent communication skills and have the confidence to manage and motivate those under your supervision and control. It will be your duty to set high standards of quality, customer service and Health and Safety.
