Overview
Senior Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner £40,000 - £47,000 Leicester Ambitious manufacturing group amid an exciting phase of growth and investment have an opportunity for a versatile and career driven Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. Your will step away from the day to day accounting / reporting and take responsibility for business partnering and leading 'added value projects’. You will report directly to the Head of Finance and enjoy a high degree of visibility and backing to really allow you to make a difference. Your remit will surround making improvements to better suit the needs of a growth business which is expecting further expansion. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the commercial reporting and MI is insightful and accurately reflects the opportunity, cost drivers, margins, profit areas and challenges of the operational and commercial functions. You will also be heavily involved in working with colleagues across operational areas, finance and IT to implement a new ERP system. The role would be a superb step for a confident newly qualified (CIMA / ACCA) Management Accountant / Senior Management Accountant looking for a role that allows them to step away from the business as usual / month end and into a role completely focused on delivering positive change and improvement. You will need: Experience as management accountant / business partner / project accountant within a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills and confidence when working closely with non-finance colleagues. A natural curiosity and investigative nature - someone who will enjoy lifting the bonnet and making suggestions for improvement. A proactive approach to problem solving - it would suit someone who enjoys new challenges rather than mundane routine. A completed qualification (or finalist level) CIMA or equivalent. A firm foundation of IT skills - good knowledge of Excel.
