Overview

We currently have a great opportunity for a Software Developer with strong experience in the broadcast industry to join our leading technology client on an initial 6-month contract. In the role you will work on the company's flagship product taking ownership of key deliverables and undertaking development in C# and/or C++. You will also work on the integration and configuration of developed modules to ensure they integrate with other platforms and work closely with key members of the development team to ensure any issues or blockers are flagged as quickly as possible. In addition to the hands on development there may also be some client facing work, presenting to internal and external stakeholders the functionality of key modules. Applicants will need strong .Net/C# development skills along with an excellent understanding of broadcast concepts including routing protocols and ideally some exposure to NMOS. Experience of interfacing with Restful API's is also important as is experience utilising a message bus such as Rabbit MQ or MQTT. Any additional skills in C++ development, integrating with SQL and non-SQL databases and containerisation using Docker would also be highly beneficial.
