Overview

Our client is the UK's leading modifier and restorer of the iconic Land Rover Defender. Based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire they have instructed Adecco to recruit a Receptionist/Administrator. The ideal employee will work alongside the workshop and sales teams and their primary objective will be to ensure that high quality customer service is given at all times. The candidate will be the first person a customer or visitor speaks to, so needs to represent our client in a friendly and professional manner. Job Description, Key Responsibilities to include but not limited to: · Answering the phone and dealing with incoming calls/queries in a pro-active positive manner · Meeting and greeting customers and visitors · Liaise with the Sales Team/Workshop Manager to book in service and warranty works · Maintain the reception area, staff kitchen, including the hospitality and merchandise areas · Log details from weekly time sheets · Give administrative support to the sales and finance teams · Assist with Health & Safety for the company · Ordering of Stationery supplies, refreshments, staff uniform, furniture · Assist with Dealer Web · Oversee wastage/cleaning · Postal Duties · Taking card payments from customers · Attend Trade shows if required Candidate - Skills/Experience/Attributes: · Excellent customer service skills are essential · Strong Microsoft Office skills. · Self motivation and ability to work under pressure. · To have an eye for detail, being precise and accurate at all times · The ability to prioritise workload · Strong interpersonal communication and relationship building skills. · Motivation to hit deadlines and exceed targets. Our client are offering a salary of £20,000.00 per anum. Saturday morning working will be required on a rota system.
