Overview
THE COMPANY: Brewster Partners are currently recruiting for an Engineering / Technical Manager for our client based in the Grimsby area, within 10 minutes from the A180, with easy access from Hull and Scunthorpe. THE JOB: A new job opportunity has recently arisen for an experienced Engineering / Technical Manager to join a rapidly expanding team. Undertaking overall management of the Engineering discipline, key responsibilities will include: Service enquiries prior to the acquisition of sites Liaising with Designers for the production of all relevant design drawings Working with utilities companies & Site Managers to ensure timely connections with a view to achieving deadlines within agreed budgets Visiting sites to ensure completion of work is to the highest of standards Supervision of remedial works Reporting of progress to the Senior Leadership team Ensuring implementation of the company's Health & Safety policy Additional ad hoc duties as required THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will have: A strong technical background within the Engineering discipline Previous experience in the House Building Industry (Essential) The ability to liaise with people at all levels to ensure effective planning of Roads, Sewers & Utilities THE BENEFITS: Competitive salary and benefits package A flexible and varied working environment Realistic opportunities for progression Brewster Partners Recruitment Group focuses on the recruitment of talent in South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and the Midlands.
