Overview
On behalf of my client we are recruiting for a Residential Support Worker for the Ross on Wye area. The home is a registered home for up to three Children who have complex needs which may include autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) and complex associated difficulties. Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification is desirable but not essential for this role (my client can support with the training of this.) Successful applicants will ideally have previous experience of working with young people with challenging behaviour. As a Support Worker you will be a key member of our team, providing high standards of person-centred support and care to our young people. Through a warm, welcoming and relaxed approached with a structured environment, you will encourage young people to develop social, educational and practical skills to lead a fulfilling life set in beautiful surroundings. Due to the rural location of the home you would need to hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
