Overview

Do you have advanced Excel skills? Are you seasoned with balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis? Are you an excellent communicator both written and verbal? We are working with an established business in Harlow whom are looking for a strong Management Accountant to join their accounts team. Responsible for the preparation of Management accounts for the arms of the business Preparation of Departmental management accounts Monthly calculation and posting of accruals, prepayments, Maintain asset register, calculation and posting of depreciation Calculation of accrued revenue and WIP Liaise with project managers to review departmental performance Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis Reconciliation of intercompany balances Review accrued revenue and liaise with relevant department to ensure prompt invoicing Ensure all applicable projects have revenue and cost budgets and they are applied to Sage Project Accounting Investigate and resolve budgeted vs. actual profit variances Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns for 4 group companies Preparation of year end schedules for audit purposes Identify and recommend system or process improvements where possible Assist with accounting/finance matters within other areas of the Division as and when required Skills required: Part Qualified Accountant(CIMA/ACCA/ACA) or qualified by experience Excellent Excel skills Sage 200 knowledge an advantage Very good communication skills – both verbal and written Hours: 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday We look forward to your application
