Overview
Are you a Parking Officer who has the experience and legislative knowledge to deliver support within a Local Authority Parking Service? Are you able to ensure all statutory documents, challenges, administration of permits/vouchers representations and appeals are completed in accordance with legislation? Based in Uxbridge, Greater West London, you will join a busy team that strives to offer a responsive and first-rate customer service at all times. You will follow the Environment and Traffic Adjudicators guidelines, Council policy and within the statutory timescales. A typical day might include examining appeals, determining whether the charge will be over turned or enforced, minimising the number of complaints and higher appeals to the independent adjudicator at the Parking and Traffic Appeals Service (PATAS). Ideally you will be or have been a Parking/Traffic Appeals or Representations Officer with a practical knowledge of Traffic and Fixed Penalty Notice Legislation. You'll be organised, with a keen eye for detail as well as have strong communication skills. With an immediate start this contract is initially offered at 3 months with the possibility of extension.
