Overview
Our client has an exciting opportunity to work in their established Accountancy Practice based in a rural setting just outside of Needham Market, Ipswich, Suffolk. The company are seeking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to work approx. 20 hours per week. They are flexible on days and hours to work but would prefer it to be over a 4 day working week. The successful candidate will be required to assist with the preparation of accounts on a wide variety of their clients, including Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies to a Trial Balance stage. Your will also be required to complete work on client records including Bookkeeping and VAT Returns. This may include some Sage, Xero or QuickBooks work. Payroll knowledge maybe an advantage but not essential. The successful candidate will be able to work on their own initiative as well as a valued team member. In exchange the company offers good working conditions, pay and pension. Remuneration would be according to experience and qualifications.
