Job Scope As an Assistant Manager you will use your skills and experience to assist in the overall management of the store by maximising sales and profitability, leading and motivating a team, delegating and prioritising tasks effectively and in the Manager's absence taking responsibility for stock, cash and store security. As a Luxottica ambassador you will role model the Luxottica characteristics and the Sunglass Hut culture. Major Duties & Responsibilities for an Assistant Manager · Drive memorable customer service · Know the product inside and out and stay fresh with new merchandise, trends and competitive activity · Assists with recruitment, training and development of the team · Drive performance to ensure all KPIs are achieved and store turnover targets are met · Assist with cost control including ordering and managing stock levels in store · Keep abreast of and be knowledgeable of competitor activity · Support the Store Manager in the daily running of the store · Network effectively with internal and external stakeholders · This is not an exhaustive list of duties and you may be requested to perform any other duties deemed reasonable by your line manager Knowledge and skills for an Assistant Manager · Strong selling skills · Excellent customer service skills · Time Management skills · Coaching skills · Problem solving ability · Strong communication and listening skills · Highly commercial · Results driven · Able to make decisions Education & Experience · GCSE’s or equivalent experience · 1 retail management experience
