Overview
We are looking for a Stores Controller, to join a great opportunity in a well-established international corporation, that manufactures high-end parts for the electronics industry. The company is known for manufacturing products and giving services to the highest quality and always striving for excellence, innovating and turning the impossible into reality. As a Stores Controller in the company, you will be in charge of the following duties: Comparing and identifying information, counts, weighs, also measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders. Unpacking and examining incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, recording shortages. Pulling parts from stock/inventory for work orders. Determining methods of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates. Assembling of wood or cardboard containers or selecting preassembled containers. Inserting items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding. Stamps or glues identifying information and shipping instructions into crates or containers. Posts weights and shipping charges; affixes postage. The company is open to receiving candidates that have at least 2 years’ experience in shipping and receiving stock within a warehouse. Also, someone who knows how to operate pallet trucks, forklifts and hand trucks.
