HGV Class 1 Drivers required 5 VACANCIES This is an excellent opportunity for a HGV Class 1 Driver to work from the depot near Birmingham Airport delivering throughout the UK The successful candidate will enjoy the benefits of working for a major distribution company. If you are an experienced HGV Class 1 driver with a valid CPC and valid digi taco card and wish to work Monday to Friday only this may be the ideal job for you. This role is based near Birmingham Airport therefore you will have to be able to pass a criminal record check and a provide a 5 year work history You will be working 10 to 12 hour shifts throughout the week. Your earliest start is 05.00hrs and your latest start is 08.00 hrs and enjoy no overnight stays Essential Requirements: Valid CPC and Digi Card A minimum of 2 years driving experience Maximum of 6 points on your licence High levels of Health and Safety standards Numerate and literate Excellent communication skills verbally and written Diligent attention to detail Ability to work under pressure Duties include:- Supervising the loading of vehicles so that products are safely loaded and secured Ensuring the load is correct against the customers orders Ensure that on arrival the delivery is safe Carrying out multi drop deliveries in a timely manner Driving the vehicle safely and in accordance with the law Driving within the tachograph law and driver hours limits Completing vehicle daily inspection sheet Adhering to all company policies and procedures If you are able to provide a 5 year checkable work history, can pass a criminal record check and are able to complete additional airport training send your cv without delay.
