Technical Content Writer role Great role in a market leading IT software business Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this is a great opportunity to work as part of a broader marketing division that covers new business, channel partners & client retention As strong content creation skillset is a must, with a desire to push out content that will have a positive impact on the business The role: The Technical Content Writer will be joining a marketing team of eight people. The business needs a content writer who can define the content marketing calendar and implement that in a creative and innovative way. The Technical Content Writer will be the sole contributor to writing multi-format content in the business, whether that be writing strong opinion blog articles, website articles, whitepapers, infographics, social media posts, videos, podcasts, or press releases. The content created will be utilised to increase the amount of new business leads for the sales team. The successful candidate will have exceptional writing skills, have experience of working in a B2B technology business or content marketing agency, and have a passion for technology. Responsibilities for the position Technical Content Writer: Working within a good size marketing team Creating and owning the content marketing calendar Writing multiple formats of content e.g. opinion blog articles, website articles, whitepapers, infographics, social media posts, videos, podcasts, or press releases Ensure that all messaging is accurate and up to date Create and curate new and exciting pieces of content To be considered for the role of Technical Content Writer you must have: B2B content marketing experience Exceptional written and spoken English Ideally a Journalism/English degree Deep knowledge of the technology sector A can-do attitude with demonstrable drive Self-motivation - this role is completely self-managed Written a variety of B2B content across multiple formats The company: With the office based in London, this successful and well-established global organisation provides services to some of the largest businesses in the world.
