Overview

Salary: Up to £22,000 per year (Based on experience; To be discussed at interview) We are looking for a forward thinking individual to join our close knit team. At AIT you are not just a number The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with our 1st & 3rd line technicians. Strong communication and troubleshooting skills are a must. We require a minimum of 2 years hands on experience in a 1st line customer facing role. Any 2nd line experience would be advantageous. A valid Driver’s licence is required due to our network spanning multiple sites. Essential Technical Skills: · Installing IT hardware and software · Microsoft Operating systems · Windows Server Experience · Good understanding of Active Directory, File permissions, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy · Excellent troubleshooting skills (Hardware, Software, Networking) Non-Essential Technical Skills: · Capita sims.net, server & client side · Veeam Backup · Exchange, Office 365, PowerShell · Apple products · Ubiquiti products · VOIP systems Personal Qualities: Ability to work within statutory regulations, policies and procedures Attention to detail and an analytical approach Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Good organisation skills, prioritising and managing own time effectively Highly motivated team player Excellent communication skills Able to work on own initiative, with minimal supervision and guidance Ability to organise and prioritise a heavy workload at busy times A calm approachable manner, able to deal with problems in a professional and friendly manner, displaying tact and diplomacy as required Willing to undertake training and develop professionally If you believe you have something to offer please get in touch.
