Windows 10 Desktop – Windows Server 2016 – Networking – Linux – Debian – VMWare This is a role for a Windows Support Engineer with Experience in 1 st and 2 nd Line Support of Both Windows 10 Desktop and Windows 2016 Server. You will also work with VMWare and Networking Technologies. You need experience In Implementation – troubleshooting – configuration and support of Windows 10 Desktop and Windows 2016 Server. The company is a global leader in the development of radio frequency software applications and has doubled in size in the last 24 months with 80 users in Cambridge and 120 globally. You will receive training in AV / Firewall solutions (Sophos) - Amazon AWS - VPN (including use of OpenVPN) Mimecast ( for an upgrade project ) and SQL Server In this role you will provide 1st and 2nd line support for end users while monitoring the company’s IT infrastructure and dealing with alerts. You will also help with the expansion and implementation of IT services to the company and you will support the IT infrastructure of the Cambridge office sites. You need to be very reliable with a positive “can do” attitude and prepared to be flexible and openminded about all aspects of the job. You will also take part in the following projects: Mimecast security for emails upgrade. Sophos security upgrade for 50 AWS Servers Veeam backup solution upgrade. Data security driven projects. Intune mobile device management roll out. Office365 – Cloud Exchange Servers migration with Azure. These are all projects that you will work on and you will learn all these technologies.
