Overview
VB - VB.NET - ASP.NET - PHP - Office 365 – Excel – SQL server. APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT - APPLICATION SUPPORT - In this role you will in house bespoke applications developed using a variety of languages - If you have experience with any the following languages you can apply for the role. VB - VB.NET - ASP.NET - PHP - You will also learn how to support Salesforce and Sage Line 2000 and receive formal training. This market leader manufacturing business is looking for a candidate with the experience to support and develop small in house bespoke applications while also helping with the day to day IT Support and BAU for the business offices in Aylesbury. Your software development and support experience will help the growth and efficiency of the IT Solutions across the business. Y ou will help the team to support their growing business and will help drive the innovation in the IT Department. This role is crucial to the delivery of their business ambitions. 85% of the role will see you supporting the in house Applications written in VB, VB.NET, ASP.NET or PHP as well as doing some small bespoke application development in the same programming languages. The other 15% of the role will be to work with the IT Team to support the Windows Infrastructure of Desktops and Servers as well as supporting SAGE Line 200 Accounting Applications – SQL and Salesforce ERP System for which you will receive training for. Clearly you will need to be technically open minded and willing to learn the technologies that you don’t have experience with while using your current and up to date technical experience because your role will be to work across all aspects of IT including development and support. Responsibilities Assess departmental needs and then identify potential solutions. Develop small bespoke in-house applications. Supporting pre-existing applications ( VB - VB.NET - ASP.NET - PHP ) and provide second line support for existing systems. ( Windows Server – Windows Desktop – Office 365 ). Develop, maintain and audit the company’s standard operating procedures. Visit oversees branch offices to implement these changes.
