Corporate Governance Solicitor This National practice seek to recruit a Solicitor to join their Corporate Governance team in Birmingham. Firm - UK Top 100 law firm - The firm advises over 800 businesses and is market-leading across housing, health and social care and local and central government throughout the UK. - Employing over 450 staff, including 65 Partners and our award-winning teams provide commercial, corporate, property, regulatory, employment and litigation (commercial and clinical negligence) legal advice. Team/ Role - The successful candidate will join our corporate team, working on corporate governance matters primarily for our housing sector clients. - The role would include working closely with the lead in this area to deliver strategic projects including mergers and joint ventures, and advisory work in relation to constitutional changes, establishing new corporate entities and governance best practice. - Whilst you would be part of a larger corporate department, this is an opportunity to work in a smaller team develop an area of strategic growth for the firm. - Excellent opportunity to work alongside the Partner within this team on top quality national work. You - NQ to 3 PQE - Seat in Corporate or Commercial - Interest in advising in the not-for-profit sector, constitutional arrangements including advising on company law requirements and directors, trustees' duties and responsibilities. Corporate transactional matters including group structures, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and collaborations.
