An amazing opportunity has become available for a Suppor t Chef Manager £30,000 pa to join the Olive Team to cover the Manchester to Telford Area . What you’ll be doing Working as part of a team our Support Chef Manager main responsibilities will be: · Cover the contract Managers holiday and absence period · Maintain the smooth running of the contract · To ensure the provision of food and beverages to the highest standard within the financial limitations set for the contract. · To comply with all Company policies and regulations in respect of health, safety and environmental management at work and to ensure the highest standards of kitchen practice and hygiene. · Control menu planning, production levels, food costing, ordering and stock control, as appropriate. · Planning and delivering of themed events · Point of contact for contract managers in Operations managers absence / holiday · Site Improvement and Project management · Completion of audits - Financial and Health and Safety What we’re looking for The Support Chef Manager will need to have a great personality, strong communication skills, great teamwork ethic, passion and stability while working within fresh food and branded operations. Our ideal Support Chef Manager should: · be passionate about providing fantastic food and be able to work effectively within a team. · possess excellent culinary skills, as well as being aware of current food trends to help ensure that our food offer is innovative and imaginative. · Committed and flexible with time management to deliver the job · Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as being financially astute and numerically able, to ensure you achieve budgetary targets . · You will need to be passionate about providing excellent food and customer service and your skills in these areas must be first class. You will have the ability to drive our business forward with exacting standards and an attention to detail. The successful candidate will have passion and flair, taking our hospitality offer to the next level. You will also need to be computer literate and comfortable with Word and Excel. · Possess Team leadership qualities which you can demonstrate as well having knowledge of Health & Safety requirements. City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or similar NVQ qualifications are required, Food Safety Level 3 is desirable.
