Overview

My client is a British run and operated specialist in the field of manufacture, design, installation and maintenance of lifts and escalators. They are currently seeking an experienced Lift Technician based from their Southern Office, to be responsible for the following; Testing and commissioning of all types of lifts. Day to day site supervision of lift removals, installations and refurbishments. Monitoring site safety, quality, compliance with specification and measuring performance of sub-contractors. Dealing with site technical queries. Procurement of materials. Liaising with clients’ representatives as required. Carrying out site surveys. Submitting regular progress reports. Involved in the continuous professional development of other engineers, by training and assisting others in addressing complex engineering problems. To be considered for this position, you will ideally have; An NVQ 4 Qualification in Lift Testing. At least 5 years’ experience working as a skilled Lift Engineer. Ideally, you will hold your IOSH Managing Safely certificate. A good understanding of LOLER and PUWER regulations. A full UK driving license.
