Lead Business Intelligence Analyst Location: Nantwich, Cheshire CW5 you will also be required to work at our Head Office in Sutton Coldfield B72 Salary: £30k - £35k DOE Hours: 40hrs per week - Monday-Friday Interested in working as a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst? Do you own your own car and hold a full current driving licence? CHS Healthcare is long-established in the health sector with a record of continuous growth and success. As part of our services to the NHS, we supply software and services to 30 Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) helping them manage their provision of care to patients in nursing homes or at home. Typically, our software systems Broadcare and Caretrack, are used for continuing healthcare patients, holding a database of them, administering care requirements, validating invoices and paying care providers. Our services range from arranging care home placements and packages of care to the administration and management of providers on behalf of CCGs. Some of our contracts with CCGs require us to employ small teams of staff to help manage these services around the country. Our Broadcare and Caretrack systems are bespoke databases which have been developed to meet the specific needs of our customers. About the role Take the lead in the build, development and successful implementation of a cloud hosted business intelligence solution for CHS, using industry leading software (QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableau). The jobholder is required to provide specialist and unique advice, analysis and consultancy on the extraction, interpretation and development of business information reporting for CHS. Champion the use of data within CHS enabling data insights to be used as a commercial asset. Assist in improving data quality across relevant areas within CHS. What sort of person are we looking for? The ideal candidate will have an analytical background with several years of experience in using business information software (QlikSense, PowerBI, Tableau). Experience of a greenfield BI deployment would be highly advantageous. Key Skills A strong understanding of the following. Database - SQL, data structures (tables, views, stored procedures), data transformation, efficiency, normalisation. Structured and unstructured datasets (SQL) and experience in developing reporting to turn these into a commercially viable product. Proficient in the use of cloud hosted business intelligence tools (QlikSense, Tabluea, Power BI). Knowledge of Information Governance Principles (Data Security & Protection) for handling patient data. Advanced in the use of MS Office applications, in particular Excel and Access. Knowledge in automating reporting processes to quickly identify exceptions and trends.
