Overview
Position Title:- Application Engineer Location :- Milton Keynes Salary : up to £35,000 depending on experience Company Profile:- Our Client are a long established adhesive experts. They cover the entire value chain and enable customer-focused solutions. Our Client is one of the pioneering forces in adhesive tape technology and is now active on a global scale. Purpose and scope of the Role:- Support Internal and external Sales teams. Project Planning. Develop total process solutions for customers and prospects. Education, Training Min 5 GCSEs or equivalent Formal mechanical qualification ONC or equivalent Needed Competences and Skills. • Natural Mechanical Aptitude • Working Knowledge of Excel, Word and Powerpoint . • Experience of Coreldraw and Autocad or similar would be an advantage. • Good communication skills both orally and written. • Ability to read 2d and 3D engineering drawings is essential • Good team player. • Ability to remain calm under pressure and think outside of the box, being creative with how to achieve solutions Core Tasks and Allocation of Time:- • Projects 50% • New Business Development 20% • Technical Support 15% • Conducting and recording test results 10% • Interaction with other departments 10% Impact on business results (value Added):- • Assist in achieving / exceeding sales plan • Assist in achieving / exceeding GM plan • Provide quick and best solutions to opportunities • Produce documented evidence for all projects and trials • Train Staff to raise the bar Complexity:- • Creativity and freedom to act as well as most relevant interfaces • Develop network of contacts across BU TP EME, Suppliers and machine and tool manufactures • Work closely with client sales and production Benefits: • Auto-enrol pension scheme with employer's contribution starting at 4% • Free parking • Pleasant place to work with supportive friendly colleagues. • Hours of work - Mon - Fri 8.30 - 5.00 with an hour for lunch (37.5 hours)
