The Company This business is a multi-disciplinary Consultancy focused on rural development and diversification that operates throughout the UK with a wide and varied client base with a range of land and property interests. Teams work very closely together in a collaborative environment to achieve common goals. The Company has regular incentives and social activities and provide training for all team members. The Role The planning team is expanding, and as a result the business is now looking to recruit an RTPI accredited experienced Senior Planner / Associate. Experience of working in a rural planning practice is not essential, but demonstration of an understanding of rural planning issues would be of benefit. Amongst a range of duties you will be involved in; Delivering planning advice Preparing planning applications and environmental assessments for a variety of developments Developing planning strategies Mentoring junior members of the team Developing relationships with stakeholders and local authorities Advise landowners, developers and investors on projects and policy issues The Candidate As the ideal candidate you should be able to demonstrate; An excellent understanding of client relationship management Good presentation skills A proven ability to manage workload, budgets and project co-ordination A proven track record in business development and project delivery Competence and confidence to deal with a range of planning disciplines.
