SQL DBA

SQL DBA, SQL Server, Performance Tuning, High Availability, Replication, Disaster Recovery, Backups, T-SQL, SQL Development, Indexes, Tables, Functions, Views A fast growing SME in the Financial Services industry have need for a strong mid-level SQL DBA to join their existing Database and BI team in Stockport. You should have good SQL Server skills, strong SQL Server internals and good experience of working as a DBA and Production DBA tasks with SQL Server. Key skills for this role include; - SQL Server - SQL Database Administration, Maintanance & Support - Performance Tuning - T-SQL, Stored Procedures - High Availability Tasks; Replication, Logshipping etc - Data Warehouse Exposure - Any MS Azure / SQL Azure / Azure DWH experience would be desireable but not essential You should have strong communication skills and be a team player, as you will work with the BI and Development teams as they look to roll out new software with your SQL Support.
