Overview
Part-Time Finance Officer, Edinburgh City Centre, £28k-£31k DOE Pro Rata Your new company Hays is delighted to be partnered with an Edinburgh-based charity looking to add an experience Finance Officer to the team on a Part-Time basis. The role will be 21 hours per week split across a full day on Monday and the rest of the mornings of the week, however this can be negotiated. Your new role Reporting to the Senior Corporate Services Officer and as part of a team of 8, you will be responsible for a wide range of duties including purchase and sales ledgers, nominal ledger and cash book, and assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts for the organisation. You will assist in the preparation of the monthly and annual payroll processing making sure they are in line with HMRC and pension requirements. What you'll need to succeed You will have a high level of numerical competence with the ability to quickly establish and maintain good working relationships. You will have the ability to act on own initiative and take responsibility for completing tasks. You will have experience of computerised accounting systems and nominal ledger account maintenance. What you'll get in return You will recieve a competitive salary of £28k-£31k DOE (Pro Rata) ) Pension Scheme, Flexi time working, 25 days annual leave plus 15 public holidays (pro rata).
