Overview
Assistant Tax Manager | Guildford AJ Chambers are working alongside a Top 10 Accountancy Practice who are seeking a passionate and driven Assistant Tax Manager to join their growing Guildford office. You will provide tax compliance and advisory services for a wide range of UK and international clients. This role offers excellent career progression to Tax Manager and beyond subject to performance and assessment. Responsibilities: Responsible for all day to day tax compliance and advisory affairs for a portfolio of clients. Assist the trainees to aid in their development. Manage a portfolio of clients, the control of billings and cash collection. Review the work of junior members of staff. Identify business development opportunities to senior members of the team. Requirements: Significant experience in private client tax compliance. Ability to manage a portfolio of clients. Educated to degree level, and/or CTA qualified or equivalent.
