UX Designer

UX Designer required to join Fintech group specialising in the Financial Advisory space. We are looking for an enthusiastic, pro-active UX Designer to play a key role in researching, designing and user testing the next generation of their financial advice and guidance propositions. Responsible for developing new and improving on existing workflows to ensure their web-based applications are as intuitive, functional, user-friendly and responsive as possible. You will have a fantastic eye for detail with a very good understanding of the key principles of the User Centred Design (UCD) process. As part of a UX team you’ll be responsible for building screen design and UI artefacts which will bring to life their business requirements. Must be comfortable with gaining appropriate feedback through a variety of methods, including prototyping and user testing to ensure they have a very good vision of the software they are building. Required Knowledge & Experience At least 3 years of digital design experience, working on web applications in a UX role Experience creating low (e.g. sketching/wireframes) and high fidelity (e.g. Adobe Xd, HTML/CSS/Javascript) prototypes. Experience working with and/or creating design systems, UX guidelines and brand guidelines Strong graphic design skills and an eye for detail Ability to balance customer needs, business goals and technical restrictions to find the best possible design outcome Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organisation Desire to advocate on user experience, promoting and facilitating a strong user-centred design approach.
